After the Rain

The clouds loosen their hold on the sky. A pale rainbow appears above the wet grass, and the pond begins to hold a whole reflection again.

An imagined ending need not close the garden. Follow the path to the water, watch a leaf find its balance, and carry a little of this clearing light into the waking world.
